The Memory Support Group started three years ago and has been in continuous operation having moved to Featherstone Center for the Arts in the summer of 2014. The support group originally was a psycho educational and conversational group. With the move to Featherstone we now offer art and music therapy and have expanded to offer two groups. These added therapies have been studied and shown to improve memory and mood.

Many regular attendees as well as seasonal ones come weekly or when they are in town. Our original group have many caregivers that also attend with their loved one. Our second group is for people with memory loss who do not necessarily have a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other dementia but are aware of struggling with memory. All are welcome to attend. Please call in advance to register to attend.
