Beacon of Hope is a non-denominational church which captures the spirit of the love of the Lord. As the slogan says, “A church bringing light to Martha’s Vineyard through Jesus Christ.”

Our family of faith-filled islanders—year-rounders and summer residents—is a congregation that genuinely cares about each other. We’re a huggable bunch, ready to drop everything to pray for someone in need.

Led by a friendly, energetic and highly experienced pastor, Don Bradley, everyone leaves Beacon of Hope feeling fed by the Holy Spirit. But, our sense of community extends beyond Sunday mornings. Emergencies and issues can arise at any time. And at any time the prayer chain phone might ring, providing a blanket of support and comfort.

Mass is help on Sunday Mornings at 10am.

Bible Study

We currently have two opportunities for adults to continue  studying the Word and growing in faith.

1) The All-Church Bible Study meets on Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M and is led by Keith Soules. They are currently studying The Nature of God by Arthur Pink. This Bible Study will resume in the fall. Watch for the date to begin.

2) The Women’s Bible Study meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. They often use studies by well-known Christian authors and use the accompanying workbooks for daily personal study through the week and then gather to discuss what God has been teaching them. Teaching DVDs are often used and there is always prayer and they end with fellowship.
